Happy 36th, Donald Driver
Today's birthday boy doesn't lace up the skates every day like the last two birthday posts, but he'll be playing in the Superbowl this week. A happy 36th to Packers wide receiver Donald Driver, who is still in search of his first championship ring in his 12th season in the NFL. I don't know about the majority of the Ultimate faithful, but I sure as hell hope he gets that ring on Sunday night. I think the Packers are just an admirable team from top to bottom, and no one is more battle-tested than Driver. He's paid his dues, and it's about time he gets rewarded. I've never been shy about hating the Jets, Colts, Giants, and Steelers. Those are the four teams I really could just never learn to love in the NFL. I already explained why every Patriots fan should be pulling for Green Bay. Josh had the same sentiments in the previous post. Rodgers deserves it. Mike McCarthy deserves it. The Packers fans deserve it. The Steelers may deserve to physically be there as a result of their play, but the Packers deserve this game in that way and many, many more. Happy birthday Donald... get that ring on your finger.
