Dennis Drinkwater On Top Of His Game
For those of you who don't already know who Dennis Drinkwater is, he's the guy who sits behind home plate at every Red Sox home game. And he always displays super cat-like reflexes when homeruns are hit. This video is a perfect example. Watch the man in the red. He jumps up WAY before anyone else. Legit, on contact guy is out of his seat. Incredible. Keep an eye every homer. He's always on top of his game. Many people are already familiar with Drinkwater. But if you're not, then I'm glad to introduce him to you. Guy is a 2009-10 Sox legend. Instantly.

Nice guy on top of it. Went to a game and during a rain delay decided I had to meet the guy in the front row behind homeplate that looks like Peter Cetera, former lead singer of the band "Chicago" (I know I'm old).
ReplyDeleteSo I walked down, introduced myself and chatted in the rain with him for 20 minutes about my job, the Sox, etc. very nice first impression!
Wow, that's a crazy story! Wouldn't have guessed you've met the guy. That's interesting. He's become a legend to many fans watching the TV broadcast. May not seem noticeable at first soemtimes, because you're focused on the home run. But when you watch -- he always jumps up way before the rest of the crowd!
