Bruins Practice Open to the Public Today
Day two of the Boston Bruins development camp kicked off this morning in Wilmington, MA. Prior to hitting the ice, the boys are set to do off-ice workouts. What are some of those workouts? As you see in the above picture snapped by B's writer John Bishop, they are treading water in a workout pool with sweatshirts on. They've made some kind of game out of the water workouts, too, according to Bishop's twitter page. Will my Bruins have any legs left when I go see them skate at 1:00 this afternoon? I sure hope so!
That's right, 1:00 PM EDT at Ristuccia Memorial Arena in Wilmington, MA, the public is allowed to go watch the first on-ice segment of the 2010 Bruins rookie development camp. I'll be there, for sure. I'll be leaving in just a little while, so don't be expecting much blogging during that time span. You can hope for plenty of photos, though, as I'll try to snap some good ones of the young guns. Will Ultimate Boston qualify as media and get to interview Seguin & company? Probably not. But how cool would that be?
