Fantastic, Lackey.

Good thing we pay John Lackey the big bucks, huh? I mean he only gave up 8 hits and 6 walks in 4.2 innings today. I guess it could have been worse; he could have given up like 268 runs. But close enough. Awful performance bringing his first-half ERA to a final number of 4.78. Very mediocre for the money we signed the guy for. Where's the ace that we saw in Anaheim? Hell, even the ace we saw in his first start of the season. I'd take that guy over this guy. I hope  he figures it out, because in this division, the Red Sox can't afford poor starts out of their top guys. Especially when our "ace" is out cold.
