I Found My Biggest Gripe With Madden
Well I've spent the last week raving and ranting about how awesome Madden '11 is, and how I'm addicted to it and all that shit. Well guess what? I take it all back. Yeah everything I said is true, but it has all been overridden in my eyes because of this stupid online bullshit. If you can't read the screen, it says "the connection to your game has been lost." Now before you stop reading and think I'm just ranting about internet problems, hear out this absurd policy. A player can just disconnect his XBOX anytime before halftime and he doesn't get a loss, and you don't get a win.... wait, what? Is that real life? Is that the stupidest policy in the history of video games? Maybe, because this photo was taken after the FIFTH game in the last hour that I was winning in the second quarter, taking a big fat dump on the kid's chest, and he pulls the plug on his XBOX so it's like it never happened. Beating the Ravens 35-14. Beating this stupid douche bag 27-6. There were 13 seconds left, for Christ's sake. My record should be like 6,784,324 and 4. Instead my record is 6-4 with 6,784,318 games discounted just before the half. Screw EA Sports. I'll never buy another game from you again.
PS -- I'll definitely buy Madden 12.
Update -- You better watch out if you end up paired up with me in a Madden game online and you quit early. Because since I made this post I played 6 games, kicked the shit out of everyone, 1 of them finished the game, the other 5 quit. And I'm sending them nasty messages now, letting them know how much of a pussy they are. Just saying. So be careful if by some miracle you end up facing me in a ranked match. I'm a little on edge there, bitches.

Same thing will Call of Duty man, as long as you cut the power to your XBOX or you dashboard out of the game you don't get credited for a loss nor the amount of deaths or kills you had during the game. So basically, you can rack up a win streak for as long as you want as long as you dashboard out before you get a loss and then just go at it again.
ReplyDeleteHaha so wack dude I can't stand it, it's like I have to give my opponent a lead in the first half in order to even make it to the second half lol.... It's getting me so mad and is the dumbest policy
ReplyDeleteYep, it def think that it should be if the opponent quits or loses connection they should automatically get a loss. Even if they lose power due to a thunderstorm, LOSS.
