Blackhawks Blast Flyers, One Win From Cup
Nice. Blackhawks take game 5, 7-4. Smokeshow. I love it. Now they are one win away from the Cup, at last. And they are going to Philadelphia to do it. And you know why I know the Blackhawks will win game 6 in Philly? Because Matthew Barnaby said the Flyers will win game 6. And Matthew Barnaby has been wrong about just about everything so far this playoffs. So I feel pretty confident that the Flyers are going down. But even if they salvage a win in game 6, they got no chance in Chicago in game 7. Place is nuts. Blackhawks haven't lost there in this series. And they won't. Like I said, they probably won't even play there again.

A big factor throughout this series has been home ice. Each team has won at their respected arena. The only way I see the Blackhawks pulling off the road win is if Byfuglien continues to make his presence felt in front of the net by man-handling Pronger like he did in game 5. Also, Marian Hossa has just be electric with the puck. Not known for his physical play he's been winning battles to the puck and just beasting through the neutral zone. Give credit to Niemi for making some unbelievable stops but he needs to control his rebounds a lot more as the Flyers like to shoot from the point and scrape up the rebounds. I like the Blackhawks in 7.
ReplyDeleteSolid analysis. I agree with you. I'm hoping for Hawks in 6. But I think if they lose, which is very possible, they'll win at home in 7. You know your stuff.
