ESPN & Tedy Bruschi Confirm What We Already Knew: Wes Welker is Tough as Nails and Might Be God
I love it. Wes Welker is the man. And he proves it once again. Guy blew out his ACL in week 17 and is already back in action. Tom Brady blew out his ACL in week 1 of 2008 and was barely back for opening day last year. Wes is tough as nails and this proves it. And the best part is that he acts like it's no big deal. Like, yeah, so what? I completely demolished all the tendons and ligaments in my knee. It's not a problem. I'll just throw a brace on it and it will be fine. And that's why we all love Wes Welker so much. Josh Elliot said it properly -- no one is happier than Tom Brady right now. Having Welker back is a huge piece of this offense both physically and emotionally.
PS - this made me extremely excited for football already, so please let it be September right now.

Yeah I'm with ya, Welker is the smallest guy on the field but you could never tell by the way he plays and the heart he shows. I just think you gotta give all credit to him for working his ass off and getting back on the field..watch out for the pats..
ReplyDeleteExactly. Such a trooper. Deserves all the credit. He won't take no for an answer. People doubt him and he just always proves them wrong. Definitely gotta watch out for the Pats.
