This Day in Sox History: June 9, 1946 - Ted Williams Smashes the Longest Recorded Homerun at Fenway Park
Ted Williams. Ball went 502 feet and landed in a fan's straw hat located in the 37th row. Whether or not all the extra details are true, that's a total bomb from Williams. Wouldn't it be nice to have him in a modern-day Sox uniform?
