Bryce Harper Ready to Make Nationals.... Good?
Being the worst team in the world has its up sides, too. The Nationals got Stephen Strasburg last June with the first overall pick in the draft. Then they finished out the year dead last... again. And once again, they are locked and loaded to pull the trigger on another bona fide stud of a prospect. Probably the two best #1 draft prospects ever chosen on back-to-back years. Granted, they haven't done shit yet. The big leagues is a whole new monster. But they certainly have the potential. This is a pitcher-catcher battery that the Nationals may have just locked up for a long time.
The way baseball is structured, the teams with the most money can spend the most money. A superficial salary cap that can be broken. The Nats have a poor market so far. But given the absurd amount that tickets are selling for tomorrow's Strasburg debut, this franchise has a chance to transform its market. Most scouts say Harper is an even better overall prospect than Strasburg was. They're calling him the most exciting prodigy since LeBron James. Guy can become a franchise changer. So, if they can transform the market, and the Nationals can get some money, keep asses in the seats, and keep these two studs around for a while -- watch out for the Nats moving into the next decade.

Strasbrugh is going to be good but not great and as for Harper i think hes the best power hitting prospect since Ken griffey jr hes not going to be the Lebron of baseball thats Prince Alberts job
